[Bug 1636411] [NEW] Evolution does not respect settings
Public bug reported: Every time I start Evolution it is showing spelling errors as I type. If I check composer preferences for spell checking the check box for checking spelling as I type is NOT checked. If I check it, then uncheck it and close, evolution stops checking spelling as I type. This has only happened since I installed 16.04 Xubuntu. I have evolution 3.18.5.2. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1636411 Title: Evolution does not respect settings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/1636411/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 1240198] Re: [SRU]Wrong keyboard layout active after booting into desktop
I have not had any problems since I changed the layout manually using the settings manager, even after software updates. -- On Sun, 2015-01-04 at 11:33 +, John Belton wrote: > This problem has reappeared yesterday after quite a time but as there were no > new updates I can not think of a possible cause for it to reappear. Re: [Bug 1240198] Re: [SRU]Wrong keyboard layout active after booting into desktop
Thanks for the information. I'm not aware of any copy and paste problems on my pc. I corrected my keyboard layout using the Settings Manager. Re: [Bug 1368146] Re: keyboard not set to English
Colin You could well be right. The point I was making was that the published workaround for a known bug did not help me at all. I changed the setup manually.
