[Bug 1203537] [NEW] s/mime signature not working

2013-07-21 Thread Ch. Tronche
Public bug reported:

Given the following code:

#!/usr/bin/python

from M2Crypto import BIO, Rand, SMIME

_text = 'a sign of our times'

def sign(message):
buf = BIO.MemoryBuffer(message)
Rand.load_file('randpool.dat', -1)
s = SMIME.SMIME()
s.load_key('signer_key.pem', 'signer.pem')
p7 = s.sign(buf)
Rand.save_file('randpool.dat')
out = BIO.MemoryBuffer()
s.write(out, p7, BIO.MemoryBuffer(message))
return out.read()

print '2', sign(_text)

On Ubuntu 10.04.4 I got the following result (which is what I expect):

1) Yes, this is why I quoted bug 997462 in the description.
and 2) yes, same for me with librecad, removing the qt-at-spi solves the
problem !

Thank you for your help.

[Bug 188648] [NEW] tikiwiki doesn't work after install

2008-02-03 Thread Ch. Tronche
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: tikiwiki

In short, some paths seems to be wrong in the package (tikiwiki 1.9.7
+dfsg-2ubuntu1.1, Ubuntu 7.10).

Installation has been done using mysql as the DB backend.

The symptoms are you only get blank pages when trying to access
tikiwiki, although mysql logs show tikiwiki can access the DB.

I managed to make it work by changing the paths as in the following diff
file.

There are a few more details on http://www.tronche.com/wiki/tiki-

[Bug 155418] Wireless (Intel ipw3945) not working anymore after upg to gutsy

2007-10-21 Thread Ch. Tronche
Public bug reported:

After upgrading to gutsy on a Dell Inspiron 6400 with an Intel 3945
Wireless card AND I boot on the default kernel (2.6.22-14-386), the
wireless network doesn't work anymore.

When I perform a modprobe ipw3945, it doesn't work (FATAL: Module
ipw3945 not found). It seems the ipw3945 isn't installed for the
2.6.22-14-386 kernel, but there's one for the -generic kernel. If I boot
on the 2.6.22-14-generic kernel, everything works fine out of the box.

I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature. I guess the -386 kernel is
better tuned to my machine than -generic, and thus it would be good to
be able to use the ipw3945 driver in this environment.

[Bug 135043] Re: [gutsy] Regression: Netgear WG511T does not work anymore

2007-10-21 Thread Ch. Tronche
If you're booting on the -386 kernel, try the -generic one. I had the
same problem with an integrated Intel 3945 card, and it seems related to
the absence of the (restricted) driver in the -386 tree, while the
driver's present in the -generic tree.
