[Bug 605960] Re: [Maverick] Error starting domain: internal error Process exited while reading console log output: libvir: Security Labeling error : internal error error calling aa_change_profile()

2010-09-07 Thread Chad Waters
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 599450 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/599450

My issue is resolved. Its was a while ago, but I believe kernel
2.6.35-13 and newer fixed the issue, like noted in bug #599450

I thought this bug would close as a dupe: sorry I didn't report back.

I appreciate the follow up.

Public bug reported:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

[Bug 160297] Re: apt-get dist-upgrade want to replace upstart with sysvinit

2007-11-06 Thread Chad Waters
I commented out the Dapper sources and the issue went away. This
originally happened sometime late in the gutsy development cycle.

Maybe an upload to Dapper caused it? I don't understand how that trumps
newer sources.

This box is pure Gutsy. I have a laptop that grabs Dapper, Gutsy and
Hardy sources and it exhibits the same behavior.

If you want to pursue this more I'll help out, otherwise I'm content
with removing the dapper sources.

[Bug 139143] Re: apt-listchanges crashes after python upgrade

2007-09-27 Thread Chad Waters
I found that deleting /var/lib/apt/listchanges.db will remove the error.
That is the file that became corrupt. It will be rebuilt on the next use
of apt-listchanges.

[Bug 117962] [gutsy] Memory warning when spawning a gnome-terminal

2007-05-31 Thread Chad Waters
Public bug reported:

I'm getting this everytime I run apt-get:

***MEMORY-WARNING***: gnome-terminal[9090]: GSlice: g_thread_init() must
be called before all other GLib functions; memory corruption due to late
invocation of g_thread_init() has been detected; this program is likely
to crash, leak or unexpectedly abort soon...

gnome-terminal is a child of the apt-listchanges process.

root 9019 8526 0 10:03 pts/000:00:00 apt-get upgrade
root 9074 9019 0 10:04 pts/000:00:00 /bin/sh -c
/usr/bin/apt-listchanges --apt || test $? -ne 10
root 9075 9074 0 10:04 pts/000:00:00 /usr/bin/python
/usr/bin/apt-listchanges --apt
root 9088 9075 0 10:04 pts/000:00:00 /usr/bin/python
/usr/bin/apt-listchanges --apt
root 9089 9088 0 10:04 pts/000:00:00 sh -c x-terminal-emulator -T
apt-listchanges -e sensible-pager /tmp/tmpGoM_W0
root 9090 9089 0 10:04 pts/000:00:00 gnome-terminal -t
apt-listchanges -x sensible-pager /tmp/tmpGoM_W0

My apologies if this is should go to gnome-terminal, but it seems
specific to the apt-listchanges initiation of the process.

Thanks
C
