[Bug 643168] Re: gcm-prefs tries to install nonexistent shared-color-targets

2012-07-18 Thread Chamunks
Grabbing the deb shared-color-
targets_0.1.0-0pmjdebruijn1~oneiric_all.deb from the ppa here
https://launchpad.net/~pmjdebruijn/+archive/gcm-release/+packages

I'm running ubuntu 12.04 x64 so I can verify the 32bit deb will work
fine on the 64 bit system but I am experiencing an issue of where to get
any form of target image.

http://imagebin.org/221331 so if that is part of what others are
experiencing here this would be lovely to have fixed. Or at least
somewhat explained.

[Bug 846756] Re: Unity's compiz portion Not working with my Sapphire ati Radeon 6850 cards with a dual monitor setup.

2011-12-08 Thread Chamunks
I think that the fglrx was working eventually but compiz is a bit
different from what i remember it being now. Lately I've not been able
to get gnome-shell working in conjunction with the same fglrx driver
that works now in 11.10. I've been told to use the Radeon Driver but in
the documentation it says that the ubuntu Radeon Driver does not support
my specific card explicitly but it might just be someone missing a
revision number idk.

I hope that this helps thank you for your diligence.

[Bug 846756] [NEW] Unity's compiz portion Not working with my Sapphire ati Radeon 6850 cards with a dual monitor setup.

2011-09-10 Thread Chamunks
Public bug reported:

I'm not sure how to add more information please contact me and I will dump
whatever log required to help this along.
Running 11.04 natty 32 bit as for some reason my system didn't want to boot the
64bit iso today.

Not sure what package is appropriate to list here.

I want my wiggly windows and my eyecandy as my computer is stupidly
powerful and want to let it stretch its muscles sometimes.

And instead I've got my dual monitors working fine but no wiggly windows
and other eyecandy.

[Bug 251025] Re: package torrentflux 2.3-6 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

2010-01-07 Thread Chamunks
This bug occurred after an recent package update I think I vaguely
recall seeing something about tzdata but I could be terribly off with
this. But it seems that after upgrading this server from 8.04 all the
way up to 9.10 it broke and fixed my torrentflux several times.

I will try reinstalling the suggested packaged above and tell you if it
works.

Turns out one of my web apps that I had installed was causing apache2 to fail
to start so after I deleted the culprit sudo rm /etc/apache2/conf.d/ampache
Life should technically be good again.

And it was. So check you're logs be careful not to have leftover things
in /etc/apache2/conf.d/
