The program installs but does not run. The program can be loaded and
runs correctly from the ppa (sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:gambas-team)
but not from the Software Center.

Work around.

Having seen the comment by Jean-Baptiste Lallement (jibel) regarding
Flash. I removed the partitions etc, and reinstalled this time without
selecting the Install 3rd party software and all seems well.
