[Bug 297652] [NEW] synergy server disables mouse interaction on host
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: synergy Synergy worked for me beautifully in Hoary, but after upgrading to Intrepid, it has a serious problem. If synergy server is running on my intrepid machine, and I move my mouse off the desktop to the next machine (a windows box running synergy client) and then I move my mouse back to the intrepid desktop, mouse clicks no longer work on the local intrepid X server. I can move the mouse pointer around, but clicking the buttons do not do anything. I can use alt-tab to switch between windows and still use the keyboard to do things. To regain use of the mouse, I have to log out (using alt-f1 and keyboard), and then log in again. In case it matters, I've been running Compiz and Xinerama on the synergy host (Intrepid machine) and an Nvidia closed-source server. This was also the case when I ran synergy successfully in Hoary. [Bug 162853] Re: evolution email address autocomplete is broken after compose window is moved
I was about to write in and say that I hadn't seen this bug for a while anyway. I tried to re-create it a couple of times and failed. Then, for some reason, I remembered that I have switched to using desktop effects. For a lark, I turned off desktop effects and tried again, and I experienced the bug again. Also, I am running Xinerama on NVidia. [Bug 162853] evolution email address autocomplete is broken after compose window is moved
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Gutsy, evolution2.12.0-0ubuntu5. In the compose window, autocompletion of email addresses in the to: entry field stops working properly after the compose window is moved. If I enter the email address before moving the window, it works properly. To reproduce (hopefully) : Select 'New' email. Move new compose window with mouse. Start to enter an email address that is ambiguous in first 2-3 characters. Behavior seen: After the first couple of characters, autocomplete selects one of the matching addresses immediately, not allowing user to select from potential matches.
