[Bug 221229] Re: nm-editor shows password in wrong field
Nevermind, I'm wrong. I meant to say nm-edit anyway, and it appears that it's part of the network-manager package. I thought it was its own package... I'm looking now to see if this was fixed upstream anywhere. ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: nedit = network-manager ** Description changed: - Binary package hint: nedit + Binary package hint: network-manager I got really excited with the new wireless network editor, but I found a problem for WPA networks. On a WPA enterprise network, the identity password is being shown in the private key password field. I have nm- editor 0.6.6-0ubuntu5 on Ubuntu 8.04. I'm sending an attachment with the printscreen. It shows a password on private key password field, but I don't have one for this network, and doesn't show the identity password, that is saved for this network. If I show passwords (no printscreen for obvious reasons), the private key password shows the identity password. -- nm-editor shows password in wrong field https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221229 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 221229] Re: nm-editor shows password in wrong field
changed to network-manager-applet, this isn't about the backend network-manager. Fix should be easy as switching these two labels widget class=GtkLabel id=wpa-eap-private-key-passwd-label widget class=GtkLabel id=wpa-eap-password-label somewhere in the GUI code. I'll do it when/if I have time. -- nm-editor shows password in wrong field https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221229 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 221229] Re: nm-editor shows password in wrong field
Confirmed; this is probably a problem with nedit, however, not network- manager as a whole. ** Description changed: - Binary package hint: network-manager + Binary package hint: nedit I got really excited with the new wireless network editor, but I found a problem for WPA networks. [Bug 190939] [NEW] Stopping the Fade Out only restores one screen
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver When the screensaver is just being enabled, and is fading out, and I stop it (move the mouse) as it is fading out, it restores the gamma settings on my primary monitor, but leaves my secondary monitor at the faded gamma levels forever. Pretty bad bug because it means I have to restart X, as far as I know, to get a usable second screen again. [Bug 147623] Re: [amd64 + nvidia 8xxx] usplash shows nothing
I have this problem on 7.10 using 8600M GT. I believe the importance might need to be upgraded; when the machine decides to fsck, or if there is an error, I am left looking at a black screen for an extremely long time sometimes with no idea of what's happening or what to do to fix it, with only my guessing that it's doing a fsck from the hard disk activity light. And if there's a critical error, I probably won't know it at all. -- [amd64 + nvidia 8xxx] usplash shows nothing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/147623 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 189473] [NEW] Paused audio plays during exit
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox When the music is paused, and I quit the program, a short burst of audio is played. It might be all the audio that is played is contained in a buffer, but I have not viewed the source code and don't know for sure what's happening under the hood to produce this error. The bug is very annoying! If this isn't a reproducible bug for anyone else, I'm using a Intel 82801g audio chipset, if that helps.
