I am getting the same problem with ctrl+T on gutsy tribe 5 - once again
it only appears to happen in firefox.

With some help from Basilio, I have managed to get the sound working.

It required the following steps:

1. Install  linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-10-386
2. restart
3. Run depmod -aAe
4. run modprobe snd-hda-intel

If the "unknown device" isn't a bug / problem, I will change the
