Re: [Bug 1964392] Re: gimp refuse to start
Hello, In fact, my installation is not quite standard, and apport is no longer installed. On the other hand, I have the problem changed a few minutes ago by replacing the obsolete PPA of otto-kesselgulasch by that of ubuntuhandbook, and by uninstalling, then reinstalling Gimp. Another error message appeared: -- christophe@Arcturus:~$ gimp GEGL-Message: 10:32:48.007: Erreur de chargement du module « /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gegl-0.4/sdl2-display.so » : /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libSDL2-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: wl_proxy_get_tag thread '' panicked at 'cannot access a Thread Local Storage value during or after destruction: AccessError', /usr/src/rustc-1.43.0/src/libstd/thread/local.rs:239:9 note: run with `RUST_BACKTRACE=1` environment variable to display a backtrace fatal runtime error: failed to initiate panic, error 5 gimp: fatal error: Abandon 26 ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/read.c: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type. christophe@Arcturus:~$ export RUST_BACKTRACE=1 christophe@Arcturus:~$ gimp GEGL-Message: 10:34:44.855: Erreur de chargement du module « /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gegl-0.4/sdl2-display.so » : /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libSDL2-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: wl_proxy_get_tag thread panicked while processing panic. aborting. Instruction non permise -- I think the original problem arose during a failed attempt to update FFmpeg for a recent version of Blender which I was unable to clean completely. I continue to investigate on my side, but perhaps should close the open bug since the symptoms have changed? [Bug 1033258] [NEW] No Wifi on Xubuntu 12.04, Intel Centrino wireless-N 1000
Public bug reported: Acer 1810 TZ; wifi was ok on my previous installation(Ubuntu 10.10). Fresh install of Xubuntu 12.04, fully updated : cannot connect to my wifi network (Freebox V5) I have seen here several bug reports that seem to challenge this chipset (centrino wireless-N), but nothing identical. > https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/994104 > https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/876147 Within two hours of testing various (including deactivating wifi N), it hung the network twice for a few seconds (the password is then OK). He will keep searching and asking for more network password regularly (WPA-TKIP). As this bug affects (X)Ubuntu 12.04, it is not possible to use it on my laptop. I have not found any workaround for this problem. dmesg|grep iwl [3.519565] iwlwifi :02:00.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 19 (level, low) -> IRQ 19 [3.519577] iwlwifi :02:00.0: setting latency timer to 64 [3.519613] iwlwifi :02:00.0: pci_resource_len = 0x2000 [3.519617] iwlwifi :02:00.0: pci_resource_base = c967c000 [3.519621] iwlwifi :02:00.0: HW Revision ID = 0x0 [3.519717] iwlwifi :02:00.0: irq 44 for MSI/MSI-X [3.519776] iwlwifi :02:00.0: Detected Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1000 BGN, REV=0x6C [3.557500] iwlwifi :02:00.0: L1 Enabled; Disabling L0S [3.577551] iwlwifi :02:00.0: device EEPROM VER=0x15d, CALIB=0x6 [3.577557] iwlwifi :02:00.0: Device SKU: 0X50 [3.577561] iwlwifi :02:00.0: Valid Tx ant: 0X1, Valid Rx ant: 0X3 [3.582693] iwlwifi :02:00.0: Tunable channels: 13 802.11bg, 0 802.11a channels [4.018819] iwlwifi :02:00.0: loaded firmware version 39.31.5.1 build 35138 [4.057470] ieee80211 phy0: Selected rate control algorithm 'iwl-agn-rs' [4.346762] iwlwifi :02:00.0: L1 Enabled; Disabling L0S [4.406942] iwlwifi :02:00.0: L1 Enabled; Disabling L0S Sea also joinged logs ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: linux-firmware 1.79 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-27.43-generic 3.2.21 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-27-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu11 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Aug 5 19:52:50 2012 Dependencies: InstallationMedia: Xubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Release amd64 (20120425) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=fr:en TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: linux-firmware UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: linux-firmware (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1033258 Title: No Wifi on Xubuntu 12.04, Intel Centrino wireless-N 1000 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-firmware/+bug/1033258/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 941100] Re: bug about “grub-installer” on raid, install with ubiquity. Possibly related to bug #936115?
Not sure it is the same PB, but : - ISO alternate 12.04 beta1, AMD64 - install on 2HD - RAID 1 + LVM (3 LV for /, /home + swap) Installation failed at end, on "grub-install" I have noted than the command try to install grub only on 1 disk ("grub-install /dev/sdb"). When the choice is proposed, I have asked for "boot even if one disk failed". In this case (as far as I remember) the grub install command should try to write on both disk (grub-install /dev/sda /dev/sdb) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/941100 Title: bug about “grub-installer” on raid, install with ubiquity.
