[Bug 1501340] Re: Eclipse sub menu are uncomplete with 16.04 xerius beta 1 (wily werewolf got such a problem )
I can also confirm this works: env SWT_GTK3=0 UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0 ./eclipse I am running Eclipse MARS.2 and the menu wasn't showing anything at all, or responding to any clicks. I had also put these two lines in my eclipse.ini --launcher.GTK_version 2 but those two were for some different problem. Just throwing it in here, because others are likely to need it too. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1501340 Title: Eclipse sub menu are uncomplete with 16.04 xerius beta 1 (wily werewolf got such a problem ) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eclipse/+bug/1501340/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1238266] Re: Error setting owner: Operation not permitted when extracting Eclipse in saucy
Mark-Andre, even when you unzip using command line 'tar' the eclipse distro is corrupted. When you run eclipse the main menu of the eclipse app is unable to show any content. When you click a menu item, the menu doesn't appear. The eclipse menu 'bar' shows up but is totally unusable. The other indication of a corruption is that the splashscreen has a bad appearance (hard to explain) but definiately indicates something has gone wrong with eclipse. This 'could' possibly be an eclipse bug, but at this point i'm willing to blame it on the ubuntu unzipping code. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1238266 Title: Error setting owner: Operation not permitted when extracting Eclipse in saucy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/file-roller/+bug/1238266/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
