Really, you are the only one who has solved this problem considering every Linux distribution (included Fedora which is supposed to have an agreement with Lenovo). I edited /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf file. Hi Kai, attached on this message are the log files for dmesg, udevadm and the prpduct version. I have to point out two things: 1) I don't know how, but on ONE occasion TOUCHPAD WORKED with your kernel. It worked with its basic functions. However never happened again after several reboots. 2) Shut down or reboot is not working on your kernel. I have to press power button to power off the laptop since it is waiting for some action that never occurred. Ok Kai, I modified grub options to select the kernel version. Now "uname -r" output is: 5.4.0-34-generic Touchpad is still not working. Hi, i'm experiencing exactly the same problem as pavelcheto. I've got a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 IML. BIOS is up to date as firmware. I tried updating ubuntu 20.04 kernel to its newest version but nothing happened. Patch proposed by nicolai do not apply because i've got no "" in my dsdt.dsl file.
