[Bug 379761] Re: MASTER - Font hinting does not honour gnome-settings in Firefox
In Firefox 3.6.6 Lucid 32-bit, the workaround from this thread worked: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1128929page=5 In a previous page of this thread, amn108 wrote: Funny i just removed all /etc/files/conf.d/10-* and after that dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig and Firefox 3.5 started to obey my Gnome text rendering ways. That is all it took. I have my GNOME font options set to No hinting + Grayscale antialiasing, and the defaults in /etc/fonts/conf.d say hinting-slight. Just my 2 cents. -- MASTER - Font hinting does not honour gnome-settings in Firefox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/379761 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 426426] Re: Internal data flow error on opening .mp3 file
In the Lucid LiveCD it's not reproducible anymore. Thanks for the ping on this bug Pedro :) ** Changed in: gstreamer0.10 (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid -- Internal data flow error on opening .mp3 file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/426426 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 546927] Re: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in xkl_engine_ensure_vtable_inited()
Using the instructions from comment 14, I can reproduce this crash in lucid main, but not in lucid proposed. -- gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in xkl_engine_ensure_vtable_inited() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/546927 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 546927] Re: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in xkl_engine_ensure_vtable_inited()
Instructions for reproducing this bug: 1. Boot Ubuntu 10.04 from the LiveCD. Don't change the language; leave it as English. This will make the default keyboard layout USA later. 2. Wait for the GNOME desktop to fully load. 3. System Preferences Keyboard. Select the Layouts tab, add a random layout, then remove USA. Click Close. (Not removing the first layout works around this bug.) 4. System Preferences Appearance. Change ANYTHING. (Change the theme, or the desktop background, or the font.) 5. Asynchronous crash of gnome-settings-daemon. It takes 5 seconds usually, but after this, the theme changes to something like Redmond in all applications. I think XKL_DEBUG=160 gnome-settings-daemon --no-daemon should be typed before Step 3 above. -- gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in xkl_engine_ensure_vtable_inited() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/546927 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
