why don't you try latest version 1.00.18. download from
http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca50x/Download/gspcav1-20070508.tar.gz

folow procedure that rade wrote.

also try use only webcam on one usb hub because if you have many usb

2007-11-30 Thread Damir Hodzic
Hello, Rade i'm vmlinuz. :) I hope that modification will help, because
he can access to video device without problems.

Rene did you try some other application for viewing webcam like:
camorama or camstream. if does't work try code modification.

gspca is for kernel up from 2.6.11
spca5xx is for kernel below 2.6.11

[Bug 139210] Re: ATI Radeon 9200 crashes with Gutsy driver

2007-10-25 Thread Damir Hodzic
I think that is not problem with drivers. Upgrading to gutsy Xgl is
enbled by default. You use 9200 and there is no need for Xgl because
9200 work fine with open source drivers. (Driver ati). Try this:

mkdir ~/.config/xserver-xgl

touch ~/.config/xserver-xgl/disable
