[Bug 1191474] Re: Security ROOT. Logs without requiring a password!!!
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I see in your modified sudoers file that you have added the line: ALL ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD:ALL This line configures sudo so that no one will have to type any password at all. Since this is the intended function of sudo I will close this bug as Invalid. I would also suggest removing the two offending lines in sudo. You can find more info on sudos behaviour at: http://www.ducea.com/2006/06/18/linux-tips-password-usage-in-sudo- passwd-nopasswd/ ** Changed in: sudo (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1191474 Title: Security ROOT. [Bug 1191536] Re: efi Error grub-installer
Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. I looked through UbiquityDebug.txt and found the following line in the part where grup-installer tries to run: Jun 16 15:12:24 ubuntu kernel: [ 474.812397] FAT-fs (sda2): error, fat_get_cluster: invalid cluster chain (i_pos 0) Your EFI filesystem (sda2) where grub should be may be corrupt according to some earlier log entries: Jun 16 15:06:10 ubuntu ntfsresize: Filesystem check failed! Totally 16 cluster accounting mismatches. Jun 16 15:06:10 ubuntu ntfsresize: ERROR: NTFS is inconsistent. Run chkdsk /f on Windows then reboot it TWICE! Jun 16 15:06:10 ubuntu ntfsresize: The usage of the /f parameter is very IMPORTANT! No modification was Jun 16 15:06:10 ubuntu ntfsresize: and will be made to NTFS by this software until it gets repaired. If you have the ability to boot Windows you could try the above instructions, if not you can also fix it with Ubuntu. Boot into a Live CD and run: sudo apt-get install ntfs-3g sudo ntfsfix partition to fix, probably /dev/sda2 You could also try to completely repartition the disk. [Bug 1191316] Re: after the last linux-generic upgrade the computer gives a fault
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. To make certain that this is a bug I would like to to check a couple of things. In a terminal enter df -h and paste the output here. Sometimes /boot is a separate partition that can run out space if there are many old kernels installed and that could cause this error. If there is no space left on /boot you have to remove some old kernels to make space. I will also mark this bug as a duplicate of #798414 which deals with this error. You can manually remove old kernels by following these instructions: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/798414/comments/10 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1191316 Title: after the last linux-generic upgrade the computer gives a fault To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1191316/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 58997] Re: Missing font dependancy: ttf-junicode
Thank you for your report Pascal de Bruijn, this isn't actually a bug, so what you should do is add a spec for it, and maybe it will be implemented. You should first check whether it already exists at the Ubuntu specs page (https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+specs) in Launchpad. If that is the case, please feel free to contact the drafter of that spec about your comments/suggestions. Otherwise you can start writing a spec following the steps described here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FeatureSpecifications ** Changed in: ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Daniel Karlsson Status: New = Incomplete -- Missing font dependancy: ttf-junicode https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/58997 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 57659] Re: Add an option to play media files when cd/dvd is inserted
I noticed that this had already been implemented, so that's my fault for not noticing from the beginning. Anyway now you've got the functionality. ** Changed in: kdenetwork (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid -- Add an option to play media files when cd/dvd is inserted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/57659 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kdenetwork in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
