[Bug 1227429] Re: Ubuntu 13.04 fails to install over existing version after partition wipe
The same problem exists in xubuntu 13-10. How to replicate error: 1. Use unetbootin to unpack debian-7.4.0-amd64-xfce-CD-1.iso to usb stick 2. Unpack xubuntu-13.10-desktop-i386.iso with unebootin to the same usb stick 3. You will get an error trying to overwrite 'etc/console-setup/compose.ISO-8859-13.inc', which is also in package console-setup 1.88 ()end of message(). during xubuntu install. Working workaround: format/erase usb stick before unpackig ubuntu iso -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1227429 Title: Ubuntu 13.04 fails to install over existing version after partition wipe To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1227429/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
