[Bug 908560] Re: Kernel oops following docking dell duo
As Xavier stated - an upgrade, that is not required for other systems is not really a solution. It is also not the solution. However, I would like to state that in precise, this seems to have stopped occurring, along with the extremely frustrating new problem of no hibernate functionality at all - rendering precise rather precisely useless on all mobile devices. Ubuntu is clearly not a suitable linux distro for the Dell Duo tablet device. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/908560 Title: Kernel oops following docking dell duo To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/908560/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 908560] Re: Kernel oops following docking dell duo
@teh603 - I've had similar issues too, however, I'm not always able to get to the stack trace to prove it. It crashed a fair few times on me plugging that in. I've now taken the most recent updates, so I'll see if it happens then. [Bug 872769] [NEW] Mousepad find/replace inserting replace text
Public bug reported: Mousepad can get itself into a state where using the find and replace (CTRL-H) functionality will cause it to insert the replacement text *after* the original text instead of replacing the original text. For example: * original content: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy red dog * Search for: quick, replace with: rapid * Expected result: The rapid brown fox jumps over the lazy red dog * Actual result: The quickrapid rown fox jumps over the lazy red dog I've not consistently found out how to reproduce this. Using the new button to open a new document (or is this another app?) means the new document does not exhibit this behaviour. When in this state - both finding/replacing all, or case-by-case will do this. ** Affects: mousepad (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/872769 Title: Mousepad find/replace inserting replace text To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mousepad/+bug/872769/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Turning on Cups debug was display errors with the entropy device, and other things on the machine were crashing. [Bug 387068] [NEW] psc1310 Communication Errors on Printing
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cups The printer will report its status as fine, idle, but will return a Communication error when trying to print any document, including a test page. The printer worked fine before Jaunty and still works fine in Win - confirming that this must be a SW problem. HPLIP shows an error number 5012. I have tried this again in Ubuntu 9.04 - it still occurs.
