[Bug 1086746] Re: Bluetooth keyboard battery interpreted as laptop battery
Same problem with my Razer Pro|Click BT mouse on my Sony VAIO's built-in BT radio. This looks like a bug in the Unity battery applet, not in upowerd, but I could be wrong. upower-d displays the mouse battery with the proper device name and no to power supply (the laptop battery reports yes to power supply). But when I open the battery info app from Unity, it shows the mouse as a laptop battery. Not only that, but the default battery meter displayed in the Unity menu bar is for the mouse and NOT the laptop battery. So I have to click it to see the laptop's battery level. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1086746 Title: Bluetooth keyboard battery interpreted as laptop battery To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/upower/+bug/1086746/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1008531] [NEW] mysql-server was uninstalled during upgrade
Public bug reported: When upgrading from Lucid to Pecise via do-release-upgrade -d the mysql- server package was removed. I suspect that this is because the machine is used as my mythtv-backend server, which did not have the mythbuntu-backend-master meta package installed (The MythTv installation predates this package provided by the mythbuntu team) The workaround is to installi the mysql-server package, which for me successfully picked up the old databases and users, requiring me to simply provide a new root password. All though I may have 'autoremoved' the package, I don't belive I did since MythTV complained during the installation that it couldn't connect to the mysql socket. [Bug 707903] [NEW] Example series name overrides enabled by default in jamu.conf
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mythplugins It appears as if ~/.mythtv/jamu.conf is created automatically based upon jamu-example.conf during installation (I never created it). Within the jamu.conf file is the '[series_name_override]' which is enabled by default when they are only supplied as examples. This causes errors since it is US centric with overrides between Schedule Direct vs thetvdb.com. The problem I had was with recordings of Life on Mars been overridden with the US versions series id, even though I had followed the naming convention for the series to be found and parsed. The solution would be to simply turn the whole section into comments, or remove it and point users at /usr/share/mythtv/mythvideo/scripts/jamu- example.conf or at a page on the website (this maybe a good idea since people can provided multiple examples) ** Affects: mythplugins (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/707903 Title: Example series name overrides enabled by default in jamu.conf -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 658094] [NEW] kernel 2.6.35-22 will not boot trying to mount flash drive in pcmcia slot on Thinkpad X40
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.35-22-generic When I upgraded to maverick, the preferred kernel would not complete the boot process. It would hang with an error message repeating until I do a hard reset. I have IBM Thinkpad X40 with two Flash cards serving as my drives. [Bug 389441] [NEW] QT Browser Plugins make the browser unresponsive
Public bug reported: QT provides a solution for implementing browser plugins for web browsers which support the Netscape LiveConnect API. However the simple 'Hello World' example fails to run on Ubuntu 8.10 and Ubuntu 9.04. It simply hangs in both Firefox and Epiphany making the browser unresponsive. Looking at the same code compiled and running on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy), Fedora 9 and Debian Lenny works. Therefore I believe it is Ubuntu specific problem introduced between 8.04 and 8.10. The QT site on the plugin is http://www.qtsoftware.com/products/appdev /add-on-products/catalog/4/Utilities/qtbrowserplugin To test you need to download, build and install the open source version of the plugin. The install path for Firefox is /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/ Once installed, visiting the example page http://doc.trolltech.com/solutions/4/qtbrowserplugin/qtbrowserplugin- example-trivial.html will show the bug. ** Affects: qt4-x11 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- QT Browser Plugins make the browser unresponsive https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/389441 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to qt4-x11 in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 150450] Re: mythfrontend.real crashed with SIGSEGV in RingBuffer::isDVD()
Not sure why I've only just seen this (may have been marked a security vulnerability) however the mythtv guys won't fix any bugs in 0.20-fixes now, as they want everyone to use trunk. Hardy has now switched to trunk, with backports for gutsy/feisty coming in the future (once the hardy one is frozen I'd imagine) ** Changed in: mythtv (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- mythfrontend.real crashed with SIGSEGV in RingBuffer::isDVD() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150450 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hi, thanks for the bug report. However I'm afraid apport seems to have failed in the stack tracing, therefore making this report useless. [Bug 158609] Re: Export as PDF crashes openoffice writer
I tried it as another user on my machine and it works fine! Strange. After doing that I can add that it crashes before it gives you the 1st screen to choose the options for exporting the pdf. -- Export as PDF crashes openoffice writer https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158609 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
