[Bug 94558] Re: gnome sensors applet 1.7.10 does not save changed preferences
I've included an strace and an ltrace. The ltrace shows several calls of panel_applet_gconf_set_list(), so i assume that either it is saving the incorrect state or panel_applet_gconf_set_list() fails? I did not manage to run sensors-applet from the command line successfully. ** Attachment added: sensors.strace http://librarian.launchpad.net/7316967/sensors.strace -- gnome sensors applet 1.7.10 does not save changed preferences https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/94558 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 94558] Re: gnome sensors applet 1.7.10 does not save changed preferences
I close the preference window and gconf is running. Tried an strace and it seems the only socket operation is with hddtemp daemon. I think, or rather, i guess that this means no gconf activity is happening. Possibly some check has failed in sensors-applet. I dont really know how to get at its debug info. -- gnome sensors applet 1.7.10 does not save changed preferences https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/94558 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 42705] Re: Critical power warning at 99%
I am also having this problem using an hp nx7000 laptop. Below is the output of gnome-power-manager run in verbose non-daemon mode. This output is generated by directly after pulling out power. The initial readings are correct- thereafter the timeleft goes haywire. The acpi command reports the correct value. I recently upgraded from breezy and am having this problem. I also am using a compaq nx7000.
