[Bug 206921] Re: MacBook brightness adjustment does not work in Hardy
I'm using intrepid hal : Version: 0.5.11-3~ubuntu8 backlight control is not working. It just sets 2 values (looks like it's minimum and maximum backlight) randomly when I move the slider. F1 and F2 are not working at all and xbacklight has the same issue i.e. xbacklight -set 84 - minimum brightness xbacklight -set 95 - maximum brightness xbacklight -set 96 - mininum again.. and so on. On boderline values the brightness shuts off completely. -- MacBook brightness adjustment does not work in Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/206921 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 177895] Re: Kernel 2.6.24-2 causing ~1000 wakeups by Rescheduling Interrupts
I have the same problem. I use a macbook core duo first generation. The kernel 2.6.24-8.14 uses a lot of power, powertop shows kernel IPI : Rescheduling interrupts doing ~300/500 wakeups on idle. When not idle it goes up to 6000 - 1 wakeups There is also a usb device 4-1 that makes 100 wakeups without reason (the gutsy kernel does not have these problems) Just tell me what I need to produce, it won't be a problem. -- Kernel 2.6.24-2 causing ~1000 wakeups by Rescheduling Interrupts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/177895 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 173721] Re: Gnome keyboard layout options (like remapping Caps Lock) are not reapplied after reboot
The problem is still present. I'm using a clean hardy alpha 5 install. I also did all upgrades today, and after reboot layout options are not applied. I have to open Layout Options window and change something to apply them. -- Gnome keyboard layout options (like remapping Caps Lock) are not reapplied after reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173721 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 144265] Re: browser.urlbar.autoFill
I'm using gutsy. It should autocomplete the url you're writing inside browser textbox according to history entries. Autocomplete entries are listed in a combobox but the textbox does not autocomplete. Try it with Firefox you'll understand better.
