[Bug 287811] Re: Emptying Trash Fails with 'Error while expunging folder'
Problem solved by the procedure described in: https://bugs.launchpad.net/evolution/+bug/28403 Jamie Strandboge wrote on 2006-08-11: (permalink) This appears to be: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=213072 Also, the procedure to reliably workaround this bug is: 1. put evolution in offline mode (File/Work Offline) 2. close evolution 3. open a terminal and run: evolution --force-shutdown find ~/.evolution/mail/local -name "*ev-summary" -exec rm -f {} \; 4. start evolution 5. wait several seconds (until the status bar at the bottom is empty) 6. close evolution (it may take a long time to close) 7. Start evolution 8. Enable online mode (File/Work Online) If you start evolution in Online mode after removing the summary files, then you may end up with duplicates and/or more folder mismatch errors. If you don't do 'evolution --force-shutdown', then you may also end up with more folder mismatch errors. There seems to be some discussion of this getting fixed here: http://www.go-evolution.org/Camel.Local#Mbox_bugs -- Emptying Trash Fails with 'Error while expunging folder' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/287811 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 239540] Re: restricted nvidia driver crash after kernel upgrade 2.6.24-18
Thanks for this answer, but what is the fix? Additional manual clean up? And there is a problem with the migration process anyway since I switched to the original NVidia driver because an update in the kernel or something else by the Ubuntu auto update mechanism messed up the Ubuntu restricted NVidia driver at the first place. [Bug 239540] Re: restricted nvidia driver crash after kernel upgrade 2.6.24-18
I'll have to go back at home, uninstall the NVidia driver, reinstall the linux-restricted-modules. I'll tell you what then. [Bug 239540] Re: restricted nvidia driver crash after kernel upgrade 2.6.24-18
Work around: Completely remove the restricted video driver environment and install NVidia driver from NVidia site ($ sudo sh NVIDIA- Linux-x86-173.14.05-pkg1.run). This works fine. I am using this configuration now. -- restricted nvidia driver crash after kernel upgrade 2.6.24-18 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239540 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 149214] Re: [Gutsy] Intel 4965AGN wireless connection dies
Hi all, I tried a later version included in kernel 2.6.24-rc8. Behaviour is better but the connection still fails on heavy loads (Like using backuppc on wifi). The connection drops after a while and reloading the module is the only option (rmmod iwl4965; modprobe iwl4965). When it happens, I have got in dmesg: [54526.621912] iwl4965: Microcode SW error detected. Restarting 0x200. [54530.136399] iwl4965: Can't stop Rx DMA.
