[Bug 502433] Re: Lucid: b43 fatal DMA error on Dell Mini 9

2010-05-22 Thread DevilishFreak
Same problem and errors with a fresh install of 10.04. It was working
until I updated the kernel and rebooted the system.

[Bug 113671] Re: NVIDIA restricted driver blocks wireless-pci NICs

2009-01-26 Thread DevilishFreak
I had reproduced that bug in three different machines:
Ubuntu 8.10 with Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 restricted drivers and a wireless PCI
card with RTL8180 driver and ndiswrapper.
Debian Unstable with the same nvidia card, the same wireless card and kernel
2.6.26 with Nvidia proprietary drivers and RTL8180 and ndiswrapper.
Windows XP SP3 with the same wireless card and the same nvidia card.

When I remove the nvidia card the wi-fi works allright.

When I use ndiswrapper I can see this message on dmesg:
ndiswrapper: wlan0 is being reset.

I found in google that it can be an IRQ related problem. Thus I think is
not Ubuntu specific.
