Verified with Ubuntu 9.10 32 bit here. Processor is an Intel D Graphics card is an Intel. lspci output is: VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) I think it's a 45000 HD or something like that. Either the computer will crash back to the login screen, or just shut off. I will also be willing to attach any relevant logs; I just don't know which ones would be relevant. I meant to write more information in the comment above, but here it is: I have a family member who uses Ubuntu exclusively and enjoys playing Solitaire for hours on end. Her computer has been crashing quite often. I'm not usually around to witness it, but every time I asked, she responds saying that all she was doing was playing Solitaire and she doesn't know what else happened. Everything was stable in Ubuntu 9.04 with almost exactly the same configuration. Additionally, Compiz is disabled if that makes a difference. -- AisleRiot Solitaire Crashes GNOME! ...
