[Bug 464559] Re: ifconfig returns SIOCSIFFLAGS: Unknown error 132 when running commad ifconfig wlan0 up

2010-02-12 Thread DonFranco83
Same here as AZ wrote. I have exactly the same WiFi chip as AZ (lsusb:
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 148f:2570 Ralink Technology, Corp. 802.11g WiFi).
The workaround using rfkill works only party for me. I only have a very,
very low bandwidth with the device and the connection is very unstable.
By the way, the device has worked without any problems in Jaunty ... :-(

[Bug 433972] Re: Internet ping very slow on Karmic Koala

2009-10-14 Thread DonFranco83
I have a similar issue with rt2500usb and a fresh install of Karmic
beta.

When I start up, I have to activate my wifi-card via sudo rfkill
unblock 1, then it connects to my router. BUT the internet connection
is almost unusable, very slow and unstable.

Everything was working fine in Jaunty ...

Thanks Pedro.

I just built f-spot from git, but the error stays the same. It still
crashes instantly when I try to export pictures to Facebook ...

Once more, here is what f-spot --debug shows up with when I click
