[Bug 202031] [NEW] VirtualBox Guest Additions not working for Hardy Guests
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose-modules After installing the virtualbox guest additions for Hardy, and configure xorg.conf to use those drivers; the mouse cursor disappears. The mouse still works, but the cursor itself is rendered invisible. Expected behaviour: xorg restarts with a larger resolution and a working cursor. Steps to reproduce bug: 1.) Install Hardy as a guest on virtualbox. 2.) Install virtualbox-ose-guest-source and virtualbox-ose-guest-utils. 3.) module-assistant prepare virtualbox-ose-guest 4.) module-assistant auto-install virtualbox-ose-guest 5.) Run /etc/init.d/virtualbox-ose-guest-utils start. 6.) Run /usr/share/virtualbox/x11config.pl. (This changes the mouse driver to vboxmouse and the video driver to vboxvideo in /etc/X11/xorg.conf) 7.)
