[Bug 163276] multiget [needs packaging]
Public bug reported: Multiget is a lightweight wxWidget-based multi-thread downloader. It serves very well in Ubuntu, Kununtu and Xubuntu as the default mass downloader and therefore should be included in ubuntu. http://multiget.sourceforge.net/ ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop (ubuntu-desktop) Status: New ** Changed in: ubuntu Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu Desktop (ubuntu-desktop) -- multiget [needs packaging] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163276 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 114375] should debianize (or "ubuntunize") LanguageTool as the optional grammar checker for openoffice
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org Although openoffice still has not come up with a built-in grammar checker, the grammar checker LanguageTool -0.8.9, which is already available as an openoffice-plugin http://www.danielnaber.de/languagetool/ is now quite mature and it already has a relative stable openoffice integration interface. I believe we should immediately package LanguageTool and enter it to at least the universal section of the Gutsy repository, or preferably the main section and be installed by default whenever openoffice.org is installed, so that people can check their grammar *immediately*. This would place both Ubuntu and openoffice.org itself well ahead. ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- should debianize (or "ubuntunize") LanguageTool as the optional grammar checker for openoffice https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114375 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 87485] Re: [apport] gedit crashed with SIGSEGV in gpa_node_get_path_value()
I have upgraded to herd5 (with xorg-7.2) but this problem still has not gone away. The steps to reproduce this crash: 1. open a medium- to large- sized plain text document (> 7 pages, the larger the better) 2. go to file -> print, change some of the settings (e.g. print two pages on one page), go to print preview (within the print window). 3. close the print preview window. In some occasions it crashes now and the gedit window disappears altogether 4. if this does not crash gedit, repeat step 1-3 a few times and it will crash easily. -- [apport] gedit crashed with SIGSEGV in gpa_node_get_path_value() https://launchpad.net/bugs/87485 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 90075] cannot configure wireless access with static IP and WPA encryption using network-manager-gnome
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager-gnome I am using Feisty Herd 5 and I am trying to set up access to a wireless network with WPA encryption and static IP address. After I clicked the wireless icon on the top right corner and chose the bottom item(static settings), I went to the setting of the wireless port. The window allow me to input static addresses, but it does NOT allow me to specify WPA encryption at the same time (it only allow WEP). I think this is a very important feature. Also I think it would be good if DHCP/static IP settings are attached to the wireless connection (router) rather than the port itself because when the computer travel to different wireless network areas, each router have different encryption protocols, but it may also as well use different IP assignment options (e.g. DHCP, BOOTP, static etc) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Mar 6 23:12:46 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04 Uname: Linux ubuntu-laptop 2.6.20-9-generic #2 SMP Mon Feb 26 03:01:44 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- cannot configure wireless access with static IP and WPA encryption using network-manager-gnome https://launchpad.net/bugs/90075 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
