[Bug 1813701] Re: [amdgpu] Flickering graphics corruption (but none observed in kernels 4.18.10-4.18.12)
The issue is somewhere in the dynamic power management code. Here's a workaround that has completely resolved the flickering (for me): As root: echo "high" > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_dpm_force_performance_level Found here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AMDGPU#Screen_artifacts_and_frequency_problem -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1813701 Title: [amdgpu] Flickering graphics corruption (but none observed in kernels 4.18.10-4.18.12) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1813701/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1591352] Re: Ubiquity copies efi boot information to wrong ESP
The interesting thing about this bug (which really is a bug) is that ubiquity will happily create an ESP partition for you when you choose to install to sdb/sdc/anything that isn't sda, but won't even use it. It'll automatically mount the Windows ESP partition, which it really shouldn't be touching. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1591352 Title: Ubiquity copies efi boot information to wrong ESP To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1591352/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1818002] Re: Ubiquity crashes on grub installation
Yep, looks like Ubiquity really hates BTRFS raid. Reinstalling with a single non-raid BTRFS partition (which I plan to later convert to raid0) works just fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1818002 Title: Ubiquity crashes on grub installation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-installer/+bug/1818002/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1818002] [NEW] Ubiquity crashes on grub installation
Public bug reported: Installing from latest Disco daily image, Ubiquity crashes when installing Grub in the installed system. Unsure if related to my filesystem layout, which Ubiquity does not natively support. /dev/sdc2 ext4 /boot /dev/sdc3 and /dev/sdd1 btrfs (-d raid0) / /dev/sdc4 swap In order to install to a raid0 btrfs set, I had to manually create the partition with mkfs.btrfs and tell Ubiquity not to format the partition.
