After sudo touch /var/lib/apport/autoreport and the reboot, opening the settings menu is still not possible. Clearing the cache and then rebooting brought back the settings menu once, i closed it, and now i am unable to open it again, just as before. [Bug 1528475] [NEW] Settings menu is gone
Public bug reported: When using the gear icon on the left side of the screen, there is a complete white, empty settings menu with a spinner for a couple of seconds, and then the settings screen closes. this is on a aquaris BQ 4.5 latest stable release (OTA8). Restarting the device does not help. One time pressing the power off button for a long time made the menu come back once. After that one time the settings menu was gone again. The second time the long power off button press did not help at all. [Bug 1456501] [NEW] Messaging ask to select a SIM card while there only is one
Public bug reported: The phone was low on battery and switched off at some point, while playing music. Later, while charging, i powered on the phone and tried to send a textmessage. But i got a pop-up, saying: -- No SIM card selected You need to select a SIM card close -- I have only one SIM card installed and it was registered to the provider (t-mobile) And with only one SIM, there is no option to select a SIM. So i had to restart the phone in order to be able to send the textmessage. After the restart, the phone worked normaly again. ** Affects: messaging-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1456501 Title: Messaging ask to select a SIM card while there only is one To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/messaging-app/+bug/1456501/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1443882] [NEW] Rotation stops working
Public bug reported: On the ubuntu phone, update to the latest release (r20), rotation sometimes stops working. ( the rotation lock is not set ofc ) Some pages are landscape, some are portrait, and none of them rotate anymore. Switching the rotation lock on and off does not change anything.
