[Bug 307408] Re: System freeze when working on Samba or Cifs mounted share of NetApp server
I can also confirm that I too can mount and browse large cifs shares (i.e. with 144+ files and directories) on a netapp san with the new kernel update. -- System freeze when working on Samba or Cifs mounted share of NetApp server https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/307408 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

capturing the any information post lockup will not be possible. the entire system freezes and requires a power cycle to recover. The issue is defiantly a client issue. Not sure if this is related but I'm also having issues with CIFS. I can mount the storage just fine but sometimes if I try accessing the mounted CIFS share my system locks. Also when I am able to access the CIFS share in question I'm only able to see directories up to the letter S anything after is not listed even though it is there. -- CIFS share broken after upgrade from 8.04 - 8.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286828 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 34199] Re: Evolution cannot connect to Exchange backend process
To add to what Enryfox stated. I also can confirm that the bug is in 8.04 LTS final. I've also noticed an increase in local drive activity prior to Evolution loosing connection to the backend service. Killing the trackerd process seems to help. Triggers for me are: 1.) Attempting to switch between exchange folders. Then trying to open a message in the new folder. 2.) Attempting to open a message after about 30mins from Evolution launch. [Bug 159484] network-manager-vpnc don't work if using wireless
Public bug reported: The Gutsy release of NM appears to have a serious bug when connected to wireless and VPN. Basically if you connect to a VPN while on wireless you loose all network connectivity to internet, lan and VPN. Disconnect from the VPN everything returns. Connect to same VPN using Ethernet everything works fine. Replicated the issue on different wireless networks. I'm using a DELL 820 laptop with the Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG. Prior to upgrading to Gutsy there was no issue wireless + vpn connectivity. -Eric ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- network-manager-vpnc don't work if using wireless https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159484 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
