[Bug 198267] Re: wireless rt61pci driver buggy in Hardy alpha (only 1Mbit/s) - used to be fine on Gutsy
Same for me with my Linksys WMP54G v4.1 which uses the rt61pci driver. Manually setting the rate to 54Mbit as in misiu_mp's original bug report does work for me though (well, at least it manages to max out my 10mbit connection when I do so it's good enough for me). -- wireless rt61pci driver buggy in Hardy alpha (only 1Mbit/s) - used to be fine on Gutsy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/198267 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 214786] Re: Apple USB ISO keyboard has incorrectly swapped keys
Yes, I agree on the first issue, the buttons are placed the same on a Swedish layout and they're switched for me too. However, normal (Windows) behaviour on a Swedish keyboard is to display a § sign on a normal key press and ½ when using shift, I'm not sure how it's usually handled in Linux though. -- Apple USB ISO keyboard has incorrectly swapped keys https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/214786 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 214786] Re: Apple USB ISO keyboard has incorrectly swapped keys
Yes, this i really annoying, another thing is that it's impossible for me to do a left curly bracket with this keyboard (with swedish layotut and the most recent ubuntu kernels, not sure about the older ones as i haven't tried), right alt + 7 gives me a | character instead of {, on the other hand, right alt + 0 gives me a } as it's supposed to. -- Apple USB ISO keyboard has incorrectly swapped keys https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/214786 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 214786] Re: Apple USB ISO keyboard has incorrectly swapped keys
My bad. The second problem was gnome-related and easily fixed in the keyboard options. -- Apple USB ISO keyboard has incorrectly swapped keys https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/214786 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 162744] Changing the user password should also change password for the login keyring.
Public bug reported: If the user changes password, the login keyring will not change password accordingly (which it must in order to unlock automatically). This is kind of annoying as it should've been tanken care of when all the other support for pam_gnome_keyring.so was implemented. See http://live.gnome.org/GnomeKeyring/Pam , the lines in /etc/pam.d/gdm are there, so why not the ones in passwd and gnome-screensaver? ** Affects: gnome-keyring (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Changing the user password should also change password for the login keyring. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/162744 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 86666] Re: Feisty crashes after grub if usplash enabled (amd64)
The same things happens for me with my X800XL (R430), something seems to go wrong with ati's R4XX-cards. The vga=xx solution works, but it's not perfect because it gives me another problem; the same kind of kernel panics when I leave X when using the fglrx driver (logout, ctrl-alt-f1 to get to terminal etc). This does _not_ happen if I disable splash and don't pass a vga=... kernel option. So I have: splash + no vga= = crash splash + vga= + fglrx = working, but crash on logout etc no splash + vga= = same as above no splash, no vga= + fglrx = working fine. Not sure if they are connected, but both problems cause the same kind of nasty kernel panics when you are trying to use the framebuffer... -- Feisty crashes after grub if usplash enabled (amd64) https://launchpad.net/bugs/8 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
