[Bug 988892] Re: Xorg crash

2012-05-08 Thread Eugene Antimirov
Pelle,

I had the same problem with my Quadro FX 570, Xorg just could not stay
alive for more that 40 minutes, while my home PC with 9600GT runs well.
Then I uninstalled Nvidia drivers, installed Nouveau and there has not
been any problem since. So for now I would call it an unofficial
workaround.

2Muzah: If you already have different kernels on your 11.10, can you
also try installing the kernel from 11.04? This will eliminate kernel as
the source of the problem.

[Bug 889624] Re: Microphone of Playstation Eye camera is not listed in Input devices after upgrade to 11.10

2011-11-19 Thread Eugene Antimirov
Timothy, I'm a software engineer myself. Can you hint where to start
debugging from? I really wanna help.

I think judging from the fact that the device is recognized by `lsusb`,
I should look into pulseaudio's guts, right? Or it's the ALSA that can
be the cause of this?
