Binary package hint: xorg

I am able to log on using safe graphic mode.  I need to reset my
graphics driver to an older version I'm guessing but am new to linux and
don't know how.  Any chance an update in the next few days will correct
this or is it unique to me.  I'm running 10.10 on an old IBM Thinkpad
model T30 with 1 GB ram.

messages the login screen comes up and all appears fine.
