Yes I can confirm that bug is fully resolved (ATI X700) with radeon.modeset=1 kernel parameter. Windows overlap normal with Compiz on and off. Gogle earth has NO artefacts and flickering (with Compiz on!) So, for ATI X700, UXA/DRI2 still not working?
