[Bug 1165798] [NEW] Asks for caldav password on every login
Public bug reported: I have a number of caldav calendars in Evolution. When I added them, a dialog appeared asking for authentication. I entered the password and selected the option to save it. However, every time I log in, the same authentication boxes appear, with the password already completed. I would expect that after doing this once, it would automatically attempt to login with the saved password. [Bug 471990] [NEW] Task Switcher panel applet has problems with mouse hover and click
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel Apologies for the vague summary, but it's tricky to explain. Basically, after upgrading to Karmic, very often when trying to use the task switcher on the panel, it fails to detect that the mouse has moved over or clicked on a task button. It is very irritating, and you have to move the mouse away from the button and back again in order to select it. Also, task buttons often stay in their hover state even when the mouse moves off them. Attached is a screencast to try to demonstrate the problem. When the cursor is moving around over the task button, I am clicking several times, but it is not responding. The screencast does not use the default Ubuntu theme, but trying the Human theme has the same effect. I would say create a new one, and report it in your own words. This will allow the bug to become 'New' again, and will wait for someone to confirm it. In theory, we could just mark this as new again, but it has already been 'fixed' for some people. [Bug 205990] Re: [hardy] splash screen disappears after a few seconds
@Alex: As I said before: --- So, in your case, the partition holding the swap file is not yet mounted, therefore it is impossible for the system to look for a 'resume file' inside the swap file, and the same problem occurs. --- IE. because it can't access the swap listed in the resume file, it drops to text boot. [Bug 205990] Re: [hardy] splash screen disappears after a few seconds
@Alex: Isn't this the same case when the resume and fstab files are wrong? Unless I'm mistaken, even when you change your RAM to a different partition, (ie. when it can't find it from resume and fstab), the pulsating bar still shows up, but then disappears for the (what would have been) sequential stage. -- [hardy] splash screen disappears after a few seconds https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/205990 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 205990] Re: [hardy] splash screen disappears after a few seconds
@Alex: Yes, I have checked. Basically, usplash loads fine (pulsating), but the problem occurs when the system is looking for a 'system resume file'. It cannot find the partition listed in fstab and resume, therefore cannot check for a 'resume file', and drops to a terminal. So, in your case, the partition holding the swap file is not yet mounted, therefore it is impossible for the system to look for a 'resume file' inside the swap file, and the same problem occurs. -- [hardy] splash screen disappears after a few seconds https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/205990 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
