[Bug 1967001] Re: Wrong message "Check your Internet connection."

2022-03-30 Thread Fabio Marconi
Sorry, perhaps I was not clear.
I know my sources.list.d is wrong but what I mean is that the message "check
your internet connection" is wrong because the internet connection is working.
Just a graphical issue, I suggest to remove the "Check your internet
connection" written.
Thanks and BR

[Bug 1967001] [NEW] Wrong message "Check your Internet connection."

2022-03-29 Thread Fabio Marconi
Public bug reported:

Hi
everytime it runs it ends showing the box "Failed to download repository
information. Check your internet connection". It instead works as expected.
The error probably is here:

Err:7 https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu \ Release
  404 Not Found [IP: 108.138.199.73 443]
Reading package lists... Done
E: The repository 'https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu \ Release' does not
have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore
disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration
details.
njin@Fluid:~$

So it is just a wrong message in that box, screenshot attached

[Bug 1629088] [NEW] [Yakkety] Disconnections, fail in reconnection introduced from Xenial

2016-09-29 Thread Fabio Marconi
Public bug reported:

Hallo
Wily with latest mainline kernel works great so I assume this issue is not
related to linux.
Starting from Xenial I cannot (or sometimes I can for few times and for few
minutes) connect to my wireless, even the mobile modem frequently disconnect
with problem reconnecting back.
Even now I cannot reconnect to my mobile modem so I have to use the usb wire to
it.

2016-03-10 Thread Fabio Marconi
This is actually affecting Xenial not too frequently on real hardware
installation.
I remember it is present at the start of the session and it disappear (pointer
reappear) as soon as I click the Logout written.
Never seen the pointer converted into a cross, only not drawn (invisible but
presents and working).

[Bug 1539519] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_action_map_lookup_action()

2016-01-30 Thread Fabio Marconi
I observed this:
I transferred a file to the phone, nautilus was showing the progress bar all
orange but it won't end up... even if the tranfer was ended. I unplugged the
phone (without unmount) and apport report started.
Best regards and thanks

[Bug 1534125] Re: [Xenial] No 'Save as' option

2016-01-14 Thread Fabio Marconi
Thanks seb128.
In my system all is by default, I can't see any menu bar, nor in window or in
Unity topbar.
In the window there are only three buttons, 'Open, New, Save' no more options
(right clicking on the buttons show only 'close').
Best regards

[Bug 1516405] [NEW] It saves file with "Unsaved Document" name instead of "Untitled Document"

2015-11-15 Thread Fabio Marconi
Public bug reported:

Hallo
If not specified the title of the window is "Untitled Document", so if you
don't specify a name for it it will be saved as Unsaved Document instead of
Untitled Document.
Testcase:
Open Gedit, type something, save without entering a name for it.
See that the file is saved as Unsaved Document.
