[Bug 505488] [NEW] crash quick-searching some strings
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: synaptic I want to search packages matching 'python' and 'git', so, used to Google syntax, I try to write in the quick search field the following string: python AND git But synaptic crashes every time when I try to write AND (capital letters) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Jan 10 14:50:13 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/sbin/synaptic InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala - Release i386 (20091028.5) Package: synaptic 0.62.7ubuntu6 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=it_IT.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-16.53-generic SourcePackage: synaptic Uname: Linux 2.6.31-16-generic i686 ** Affects: synaptic (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- crash quick-searching some strings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/505488 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 306925] [NEW] incorrect default resizing option
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org This is a whishlist. I think you should resize an image in scale simply by pulling a corner. This approach would be useful. In a word processor, function most used is to reduce or enlarge the image in scale. The ratio between the sides should remain constant. Otherwise, you could distort the image without realizing it! ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10 Package: openoffice.org-core 1:2.4.1-11ubuntu2.1 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/lib/openoffice/program:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=it_IT.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: openoffice.org Uname: Linux 2.6.27-9-generic i686 ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- incorrect default resizing option https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/306925 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 306925] Re: incorrect default resizing option
My wishlist was to make the with shift key behavior the default one. I think it is something that improves usability: i think that ratio resize is more common than the simple resize, and only few people know they have to press Shift key. My mother noticed it because she is used to Microsoft Word and this is its default behavior. For people that have to use both the office suites a difference is such a common operation is a problem. With the default openoffice.org behavior you could distort the image without realizing it (loosing some image data and sons). I think that such option by default is more intuitive... [Bug 214286] Re: update-manager crashed with SIGSEGV in PyEval_EvalFrameEx()
The log is attached. Which package should I install to be able to provide a good stacktrace? I've installed gnome-dbg but the track isn't very good. Maibe because the version still is 1:2.20.2.2 I've already have a problem (crash) with update-manager in this days https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/211399 They could be the same bug. Now all dependencies are ok. ** Attachment added: apt.log http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13290279/apt.log -- update-manager crashed with SIGSEGV in PyEval_EvalFrameEx() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/214286 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
