Clean install will not change anything, because I installed ubuntu 12.10 (not upgraded), and still have this bug. Seems to be a bug in Ubuntu (config). Hi everyone ! On Quantal I still have the bug with 304.51, but experimental 310.14 seems to be okay for the moment ! Testing is simple for me, scrolling this web page make 304.51 crashes every time, but for the moment 310.14 resists :) Most of the time nouveau opensource driver is more efficient and less- buggy, I recommend it until you need something not provided (DisplayPort does not work well for example). Ok, the package is on revu (here: http://revu.ubuntuwire.com/p/schedio) But it's sure that it will not work... The package is make in the good way, but it will do nothing... (no configure or makefile...) I think Tarun Kumar Mall has just not understand that we need more help... It's the first time for us, and I learn how to do a package just a month ago ! (I don't know everything I want to know for the moment) I surely have not understand everything, how to add binaries, or if the builder must build and compile everything. I invite you to be lenient with us. Share our work is difficult, I spent a lot of time for learn this and I succeed the creation of a PPA (I spent 5 days 20/24 hours !) But now, I need your help. I can't find any package like what I want to do. These last steps are not easy at all for non professional (not yet). Documentations on this subject are either too simple or too complex (To compile schedio I use an IDE, no command line for the moment, and even if I know everything about compiling a source, I don't know where I have to write it in the package source !) I think Ubuntu, and GNU/Linux have many development to do in this way. Ok, I may have make a mistake during the installation, I will reinstall correctly now, and I will tell you what happen. I have made update grub from karmic too, but I have not install grub the sda6.
