[Bug 1072531] Re: [regression] X11 screen blanking after 10 minutes with no UI to change it

2013-01-02 Thread Florent Delayen
Clean install will not change anything, because I installed ubuntu 12.10
(not upgraded), and still have this bug.

Seems to be a bug in Ubuntu (config).

To permanently correct this, add this line at the top of
/home/YOU/.profile :

xset s 0 0

The file should look just like this :

# ~/.profile: executed by the command interpreter for login shells.
# This file is not read by bash(1), if ~/.bash_profile or ~/.bash_login
# exists.
# see /usr/share/doc/bash/examples/startup-files for examples.
# the files are located in the bash-doc package.

xset s 0 0

(and some other lines)

[Bug 1080643] [NEW] Display Port not detected with nouveau (at boot)

[Bug 973096] Re: Nvidia driver causes xorg crash

2012-11-19 Thread Florent Delayen
Hi everyone !

On Quantal I still have the bug with 304.51, but experimental 310.14
seems to be okay for the moment !

Testing is simple for me, scrolling this web page make 304.51 crashes
every time, but for the moment 310.14 resists :)

Most of the time nouveau opensource driver is more efficient and less-
buggy, I recommend it until you need something not provided (DisplayPort
does not work well for example).

Hope it helps...

[Bug 237975] Re: Mousing over an audio file on the desktop should not preview it.

2011-09-26 Thread Florent Delayen
I love this -- feature -- ! It's not a bug but something really
interesting when searching a song for example, I use it really often and
before we have another solution (yes, click on it should be a good one),
you've just drop the feature !

I think, before drop something, we should have a solution and replace
existing solution that have problems by another, but not delete it...

Wrong way...

[Bug 833352] Re: nautilus from Gnome 3 is a bug

It's like if Gnome want to waste everything this project had built...

Like the decision you have done for unity instead of gnome shell, I
think gnome choose the bad way.

I don't know how gnome designers and devs can use this !

If keyboard manufacturers have placed a 'Del' key, it is not for show,
or for fun...

This nautilus is useless.

2011-02-08 Thread Florent Delayen
Ok, the package is on revu (here: http://revu.ubuntuwire.com/p/schedio)

But it's sure that it will not work...

The package is make in the good way, but it will do nothing... (no
configure or makefile...)

I think Tarun Kumar Mall has just not understand that we need more
help...

It's the first time for us, and I learn how to do a package just a month
ago ! (I don't know everything I want to know for the moment)

I surely have not understand everything, how to add binaries, or if the
builder must build and compile everything.

I invite you to be lenient with us.

Share our work is difficult, I spent a lot of time for learn this and I
succeed the creation of a PPA (I spent 5 days 20/24 hours !)

But now, I need your help.

I can't find any package like what I want to do. These last steps are
not easy at all for non professional (not yet).

Documentations on this subject are either too simple or too complex (To
compile schedio I use an IDE, no command line for the moment, and even
if I know everything about compiling a source, I don't know where I have
to write it in the package source !)

I think Ubuntu, and GNU/Linux have many development to do in this way.

So, if somebody can help us (Just the fist time, and so, when I want to
do it again, I can do it myself)

Thank your everybody, in advance !

[Bug 710347] [NEW] [needs-packaging] schedio

2011-01-30 Thread Florent Delayen
Public bug reported:

Hi

I am one of the developers of schedio. (https://launchpad.net/schedio)

It's a little software that allow other developers to make scripts
without make an entire graphical interface. In a file, they describe
their interface. By default we have some scripts.

For the moment, to install schedio, user must add a ppa
(https://launchpad.net/~computing-for-fun-team/+archive/schedio2), or
install the deb alone.

I think that can be cool to have schedio in universe :)

You can find:

source code: https://code.launchpad.net/schedio
or here with dependencies and projects:
http://launchpad.net/schedio/trunk/v2.0.0/+download/schedio_2.0.0.tar.gz

You can find unprofessional packages here:

https://launchpad.net/~computing-for-fun-team/+archive/schedio2/+files/schedio_2.0.0.2.0_i386.deb
https://launchpad.net/~computing-for-fun-team/+archive/schedio2/+files/schedio_2.0.0.2_amd64.deb

from here: https://launchpad.net/~computing-for-fun-
team/+archive/schedio2/+packages

You can ask any questions about schedio, I will try to answer ;)

Thank you.
