[Bug 1971434] Re: Display powersave only blanks, but does not turn off
One extra observation: when I use "xset dpms force off" to send the display to sleep, it stays in sleep indefinitely until the next user input, so apparently g-s-d never touches the power state. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1971434 Title: Display powersave only blanks, but does not turn off To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1971434/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1969512] Re: Totem unable to play video: "The specified movie could not be found"
I'm pretty sure this is not a Totem issue, but rather a GStreamer issue. [Bug 631464] Re: Thinkpad T410s fails to suspend in Maverick Beta
I found a workaround for this bug which involves recompiling the hid- ntrig kernel module. In drivers/hid/hid-ntrig.c, comment out or remove line 419-423: /* This is needed for devices with more recent firmware versions */ /*report = hdev-report_enum[HID_FEATURE_REPORT].report_id_hash[0x0a]; if (report) usbhid_submit_report(hdev, report, USB_DIR_OUT); ntrig_report_version(hdev);*/ Rebuild and install the module and suspend works (and the touchscreen, too). Just wanted to confirm that this bug is still occuring in Maverick with tracker-0.8.17-0ubuntu1. tracker-miner-evolution is installed and enabled in Evolution. [Bug 367771] [NEW] gnome-power-manager crashes on AC unplug
Public bug reported: Hi everyone, I've just upgraded my Acer Aspire One L110 to Jaunty Jackalope, and now my gnome-power-manager applet reliably crashes when I unplug the AC power.
