[Bug 1558279] Re: QtQuick library gets installed but headers are missing

2016-03-19 Thread Frank Mertens
And indeed it installs nearly everything needed.
My confusion here, I thought qtdeclarative belongs to qtbase!

[Bug 1558279] [NEW] QtQuick library gets installed but headers are missing

2016-03-19 Thread Frank Mertens
Public bug reported:

When I "apt-get install qt5-default" I do not get the complete

the development headers are missing. I have to manually issue "apt-get

[Bug 1070677] Re: Xorg fails to start because of Radeon Issue [(EE) RADEON(0): [drm] failed to set drm interface version]

2013-10-10 Thread Frank Mertens
Problem was solved for me some time ago. Surely it does not happen with
the Linux kernel 3.11 on Ubuntu 13.10.

[Bug 1163355] [NEW] my latex invoices are suddenly letter, even when using g-brief

2013-04-02 Thread Frank Mertens
Public bug reported:

I'm used to print invoices using the g-brief latex template. Last month
it was still working (1st March), but this month I had real difficulties
to even set the paper size correctly. After some googling I found I have
to call paperconfig, which worked in telling pdflatex to generate A4
output, but it still fails to set the document margins right. Because of
the wrong margins the invoice can't be folded correctly anymore -- what
a mess.

I'm on Ubuntu 13.04!

[Bug 1132397] [NEW] Xorg fails to start 50% of the time, shows strange error messages about reconfiguration needed

2013-02-24 Thread Frank Mertens
Public bug reported:

Every second time I boot my machine I end up with unity failing to start

reconfigure my graphics settings. The next time I boot the machine
