the 'biosdisk read error' anyway

[Bug 136450] Re: dotedit not working for graphviz-cairo

2009-06-06 Thread FriDisch
I just looked into '/usr/bin/dotedit'. This is only a simple Shell-Script, that
launches dot - either on a file given as an argument or on
'/usr/share/graphviz/dotedit-splash.dot'.
So it isn't very usefull after all and acts merely as a test case for graphviz.
The reason it doesn't work: 'gtk' is specified as target-format, which isn't a
format dot does recognize. One can of course change this manually, by
substituting '-Tgtk' with '-Tsvg' (or '-Tpng' or any other valid Target-Format).

Here's the whole script:

#!/bin/bash

if test x$@ = x
then
dotfile=/usr/share/graphviz/dotedit-splash.dot
else
dotfile=$@
fi

exec dot -Tsvg $dotfile

[Bug 254326] Re: BUG: soft lockup - CPU #1 stuck for 11s -- Ubuntu 8.04.1 Kernel 2.6.24-19

2009-03-07 Thread FriDisch
I have the same Problem as Guillaume LAURENT. Since I installed the Realtek
r8101 module (r8169 blacklisted) I cannot shutdown anymore:
soft lockup - CPU #0 stuck for 61s
Sadly I had to install the Realtek driver, because the r8169 does not work
anymore  since the 2.6.27-11-generic Kernel.
This is most unfortunate.

2009-01-30 Thread FriDisch
I don't want to be importunate, but this is quite an essential module
(at least for me and some people I know). And there obviously is an easy
fix...

[Bug 282692] Re: Calendar crashes Evolution upon opening calendar

2008-11-01 Thread FriDisch
Well, after reading the above bugreport more closely, I have too admit, that
this may not be the exact same bug that I am experiencing.
I don't use Groupwise. This bug happens for me, since I switched to Intrepid
yesterday. When I try to switch to calender-mode in evolution, the program
crashes with a segmentation-fault error.
