[Bug 1054776] Re: Don't include remote searches in the home lens

2012-09-23 Thread George Ryan
You're going to send all of my application and file searches to Amazon?
How can this not be a flagrant violation of my privacy? As much as I
like Ubuntu, this feature is going to make me switch back to Debian and
donate $10 a year to them.

[Bug 685577] Re: Launcher gets in the way when trying to close maximized windows.

2010-12-05 Thread George Ryan
It's really annoying for anyone running a large-resolution display. Too
much netbook thinking for the desktop.

[Bug 160311] Re: Resizing windows by grabbing window borders is difficult [please no more comments; patches welcome]

2010-11-22 Thread George Ryan
Whatever solution you people come up with for 11.04 makes no difference
to me, but holy heck this needs to be fixed. It's embarrassing to have a
100 Paper Cuts project without this being on it.

If you're going to make a 1 pixel border on your default theme, you'd
better figure out a way for people to resize the window.

2010-11-18 Thread George Ryan
We encountered this issue recently while trying to compile against
third-party header files. Is there any chance of this being fixed soon?

Now running patch 21 and still having the problem. Two weeks to the
release date and no ticket updates or responses. Good job. Keep up the
good work.

I'm now running 2.6.32-20 and it's still an issue. Is this slated to be
fixed upstream? Is there a certain patch we can watch for?

I am now using the 2.6.32-19 kernel and still having this problem.

This issue is still unassigned and there hasn't been an update to the
ticket in two weeks.

[Bug 542736] Re: buttons are too dark and blurry

2010-03-29 Thread George Ryan
I agree that the buttons are too dark. There's certainly not enough
contrast for my old eyes on the bottom panel.

Does that patch work with that latest update to Radiance? I couldn't
seem to find the section indicated.

[Bug 395608] [NEW] Update qwt5 to Qwt 5.2.0 for Koala

2009-07-04 Thread George Ryan
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libqwt5-qt4

The 5.2.0 release of Qwt has been out since Mar. '09 and should be
included in 9.10 by default. This would allow for making .deb packages
that depend on it.

Thanks
