[Bug 1192297] Re: Huawei E3131 mobile modem not recognized

2014-04-01 Thread Giedrius Vaivilavičius
I've another Huawei E3131 Variant - ATTR{idProduct}==15ca - added this
line to /lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb_modeswitch.rules

ATTR{idVendor}==12d1, ATTR{idProduct}==15ca, RUN+=usb_modeswitch
'%b/%k'

Also added attached file to /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/ folder (contains the
lines bellow):

# Huawei E3131 (Variant)
TargetVendor=  0x12d1
TargetProductList=1506
MessageContent=55534243123456780011062001

I think it would be nice to send this file to upstream (usb-modeswitch)
developers :)

[Bug 1284075] [NEW] [FFe] Please fix QGIS ARMHF builds on Ubuntu Trusty - sync qgis 2.0.1-2 from Debian

2014-02-24 Thread Giedrius Vaivilavičius
Public bug reported:

Currently Ubuntu Trusty hasn't ARM packages of QGIS, because version
2.0.1-1 doesn't build on ARMHF architecture.

Fortunately Debian developers already fixed this problem - please sync
qgis 2.0.1-2 from Debian, see debian/changelog:

qgis (2.0.1-2) unstable; urgency=low

  [ Peter Michael Green ]
  * Fix broken ARM patch by Konstantinos Margaritis.
  * Fix qreal vs double issues with qmin and qmax.

  [ Jürgen E. Fischer ]
  * run crssync on copy of srs.db
(closes: #738117)

  [ Bas Couwenberg ]
  * Additional checks in qgis-providers-common.postinst
  * Add patch to fix mis-detection of PostGIS table types.
  * Add patch to not look for topology layers without topology support.
  * Add patch to fix postgis topology availability detection query.
  * Use dh --parallel instead of make flags.
  * Add patch to disable features on ARM.
(closes: 737814)
  * Add qgis-crssync dpkg trigger to run crssync after installing the srs.db.
Thanks to Andreas Beckmann for the assistance.
(closes: #738273)
  * Also build osgEarth globe plugin.
  * Use cmake -DCMAKE_VERBOSE_MAKEFILE=1 instead of make flags.
  * Use dh commands instead of CMake directly.

QGIS 1.8.0 packages from UbuntuGIS repository (ppa:ubuntugis/ppa) always
crashes when navigating through folders in file saving dialog (which
appears in several places, for example in Vector-Data management
tools-Merge Shapefiles to one), crash error is qgis crashed with
SIGABRT in raise(), I'm attaching /var/crash/_usr_bin_qgis.1000.crash
to this bugreport.

[Bug 1023909] Re: qgis release update request

2012-12-17 Thread Giedrius Vaivilavičius
My previous post is incorrect - problem is not in QGIS 1.8.0 packages, but in
qt-at-spi package 0.2.0+git20120411-0ubuntu1 (from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS), see bug
#998012 (librecad, qtiplot (among others) crash with ASSERT failure in : Got
an update for an invalid inteface. Investigate this., file atspiadaptor.cpp)
and bug #946956 (lyx crashes in open/save file dialog)
QGIS (and other QT applications) crash bugs can be solved by simply removing
qt-at-spi package!

Problem can be in qt-at-spi package dependencies - I've tried to upgrade

[Bug 1088555] [NEW] Xerox Workcentre 7232 default recommended ppd is incorrect - most of these printers understand only PCL

2012-12-10 Thread Giedrius Vaivilavičius
Public bug reported:

I have Xerox Workcentre 7232 and this printer doesn't work with default
recommended Ubuntu driver - Xerox WorkCentre 7232 Foomatic/Postscript
[en] - printer prints Postcript source instead of printer test page:

%!PS-Adobe-3.0
   %Produced by poppler pdftops version: 0.18.1 (http://poppler.fre

This is because standart Xerox Workcentre 7232 printer doesn't
understand Postscript - additional Postscript Kit should be purchased
for Postscript printing language support.

All Workcentre 7232 printers works fine with Xerox WorkCentre 7345
Foomatic/pxlcolor driver, just one boolead option Banner Sheet is
missing in this driver.

Please make Xerox WorkCentre 7345 Foomatic/pxlcolor driver as
recommended driver for Workcentre 7232 and make Xerox WorkCentre 7232
Foomatic/Postscript [en] as additional driver.
