I was wondering if this fix will also be applied to LTS Enablement

[Bug 1311881] Re: dual screen ubuntu 14.04, second screen only partially displaying desktop

2014-09-17 Thread Grzegorz Cieslewski
I had simmilar issue. I deisabled the gpu-manager.conf, deleted old
xorg.conf, used aticonfig --initial to create a new config file, logged
in and used amdcccle to make final adjustments.

I dont really understand this but it seems that there is some problem
with randr.

[Bug 507540] [NEW] Tracepath reports incorrect number of hops back

2010-01-14 Thread Grzegorz Cieslewski
Public bug reported:

lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 9.10
Release:9.10

apt-cache policy iputils-tracepath
iputils-tracepath:
  Installed: 3:20071127-1build1
  Candidate: 3:20071127-1build1
  Version table:
 *** 3:20071127-1build1 0
500 http://ftp.usf.edu karmic/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Trace path reports incorrect number of hops back.
For example
tracepath localhost
 1: localhost (127.0.0.1) 0.080ms pmtu 16436
 1: localhost (127.0.0.1) 0.025ms reached
 1: localhost (127.0.0.1) 0.020ms reached
 Resume: pmtu 16436 hops 1 back 64

Number of hops back should be 1 not 64

[Bug 279798] Re: [intrepid] cannot suspend with module rtl8187 loaded

2009-08-28 Thread Grzegorz Cieslewski
I have simmilar issue with my Toshiba L305-S5955. Unfortunetly none of
the scrips posted here work for me. If I manually "rmmod rtl8187" then
suspend resume works. /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/55NetworkManager and
added comands to remove module post command to NM and insert module
prior comman to NM but that is and ugly hack. What order do the scripts
on /etc/pm/sleep.d are loaded on sleep/wakeup?

[Bug 315128] Re: corrupt ui elements with compiz

2009-06-26 Thread Grzegorz Cieslewski
I think that the problem described occurs on 173 version of drivers
runnin on GeForce 5200FX in my case. It does not occur on 180 with
better graphics. I believe that 180 will not work with 5200FX.
