[Bug 1726548] Re: Windows resized after resume
Some version of that bug exists on Ubuntu 20.04 as well. I have a 4k monitor and I have set the display scale to 200% in the Ubuntu Settings. After the monitor sleep/resume, the Google Chrome window scaling is wrong. The size of the window is the same as it was before but the contents is drawn with 100% scaling. I mean the fonts are very small. After the window is moved, the scaling is corrected to 200%. I even don't have to restart the Chrome, just a simple move or resize window operation fixes the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1726548 Title: Windows resized after resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-gnome-meta/+bug/1726548/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1724439] Re: gnome-shell crashed with SIGSEGV in meta_window_get_monitor() from ffi_call_unix64() from ffi_call() from gjs_invoke_c_function() from function_call()
I just checked Ubuntu 18.04 beta 2. [Bug 1722353] Re: Screen blanking and/or screen lock crashes gnome-shell user session on wayland - Ubuntu 17.10 beta
Same problem on Intel integrated gfx card. I have 4k monitor connected over DP-1 (to have 4k @ 60Hz). In my case after the crash all apps (Google Chrome, terminal, ...) are killed. Additionally scaling-factor and refresh rate are set to incorrect values. Scaling-factor is set to 1 and refresh rate is lowered to 30Hz. Scaling-factor can be fixed with "gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface scaling-factor 2" However there is no way to set fixed refresh rate to 60Hz. I have to reboot whole system. So basically after "blank screen" system has to rebooted. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1722353 Title: Screen blanking and/or screen lock crashes gnome-shell user session on wayland - Ubuntu 17.10 beta To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/1722353/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1689356] Re: UI scale being reset to 1 everytime when display sleeps for a while
My desktop has integrated Intel gfx so the bug seems to be not related to gfx driver. Anyway the bug is super annoying. For the first time I am considering to downgrade the Ubuntu. Does anyone knows some work around? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1689356 Title: UI scale being reset to 1 everytime when display sleeps for a while To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-settings-daemon/+bug/1689356/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1654582] [NEW] xserver/compiz hangs frequently after resuming from the screensaver
Public bug reported: Like in the title: xserver/compiz hangs frequently after resuming from the screensaver I can switch to terminal with ctrl+alt+f1 and reboot the system. So only xserver is frozen. E.g. Spotify desktop client still plays the music however UI is frozen. I found similar bug here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/966744 That bug is fixed so I report a new one.
