[Bug 1043578] [NEW] 6.1: bbcmwl-kernel-source 5.100.82.38+bdcom-0ubuntucmwl kernel module failed to build
Public bug reported: My release : Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Package version : bcmwl-kernel-source 5.100.82.38+bdcom-0ubuntu6.1 I have a GMA500 poulsbo installed. I use precise 12.04 on a Dell Mini 12 (1210) I read on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardwareSupportComponentsVideoCardsPoulsbo#Option_4_-_Update_kernel that upgrading my Kernel to 3.3.4+ could make my system more stable (it crashed a lot with previous kernel 3.3.2) So I did the Kernel upgrade proposed here http://packages.qa.dev.stgraber.org/qatracker/milestones/223/builds/16265/downloads and now my system is much more stable. This upgraded kernel is 3.5.0-13-generic Now, when trying to install/re-install bcmwl-kernel-source, I keep getting an error message. Therefore, I can't install my network controller BCM4312 (LP-PHY), or in other words, my proprietary Broadcom Wifi Card.
