Trying to access a Ubuntu 14.04 alpha2 based system via the rshd daemon fails.
So trying to run a command like

   rsh ubuntu1404 ls
or
   rcp file ubuntu1404:

will not complete and hanges totaly.

I have tried this with rss-server and rsh-redone-server

Running 
  rsh ubuntu1404
without any commands works .

The migration of /var/run to /run and /var/lock to /run/lock may fail if 
/var/run is part of the root filesystem

The bug is in /etc/init/mounted-var.conf and here the line

start on mounted MOUNTPOINT=/var

it should also do its work if /var is part of the root file system and
not a tempfs

With the Kernel 3.0.0 may system was running for 24 hours without NFS problems,
but I had problems with resolv.conf.
