[Bug 280061] Re: Evolution crash in exchange_get_folder_info

2009-01-30 Thread Helge Titlestad
I had a new crash that seems to be similar. However this time evolution-
exchange-storage crashed and not evolution itself. It crashed without
any input from me, so it was probably a periodic refresh or something.

evolution Version: 2.24.3-0ubuntu1
evolution-exchange Version: 2.24.3-0ubuntu1

[Bug 280061] Re: Evolution crash in exchange_get_folder_info

2009-01-23 Thread Helge Titlestad
Pedro, my evolution-exchange is crashing quite often. I don't have time
to find out whether the backtraces point to the same problem or not at
work. I could send backtraces to the bug report without checking if the
exact same problem, or mail them to anybody who wants to categorize
them.

[Bug 285305] Re: vmmouse doesn't work with input hotplug

2008-10-30 Thread Helge Titlestad
In my opinion, this fix should not be sent out until bug 248521 is
fixed. It's marked as fixed now (after 1:12.5.1-1ubuntu5 was pushed
out), but several comments and my own observations shows that it's not
fixed.

It's better that vmware users get the mouse driver (which kind of works)
than that HAL detects the vmware driver (which does not work).

[Bug 280061] [NEW] Evolution crash in exchange_get_folder_info

2008-10-08 Thread Helge Titlestad
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution-exchange

Running gdb evolution in hardy with evolution-dbg 2.22.3.1-0ubuntu1,
evolution-exchange 2.22.3-0ubuntu2.
Evolution started, showed the message list, and crashed (without any
interaction).

I have one exchange account with ~15 folders. No other accounts.

[Bug 137179] Re: 2.6.1-1ubuntu3 makes apps crash with Bus error

2007-11-06 Thread Helge Titlestad
Same as Richard here: Updating libc6 to 2.6.1-1ubuntu10 broke stuff,
doing sudo aptitude reinstall libc6 fixed it.

I do have one extra piece of info, though: I used to get memory
corruption on my feisty installation before, which I got rid of by
removing powernowd and any CPU core frequency changing. Since this bug
is only a problem for AMD64, maybe it could be a faulty CPU series or
something? Here's the top of my /proc/cpuinfo, if you want to compare:

processor : 0
vendor_id : AuthenticAMD
cpu family : 15
model : 4
model name : AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+
stepping: 10

[Bug 90524] Re: Time-admin's synchronize now is disabled

2007-05-03 Thread Helge Titlestad
I have another case where a synchronize now button should be available:
When running Ubuntu in VMWare, suspending the VMWare session and then resuming
it at a later time, the clock is stuck at the time you suspended it. So even
though I'm using ntpd to keep the clock in synch, I also want to be able to
synchronize it now rather than waiting a few years for ntpd to catch up. I'm
guessing this is a problem for most suspend solutions.

[Bug 107731] Evolution Exchange receiving option pane has two check for new messages in all folders

2007-04-19 Thread Helge Titlestad
Public bug reported:

The receiving options pane in edit - preferences - edit - receiving
options has two check boxes named Check for new messages in all
folders. Only the second one seems to be working at all - the first one
only reflects what the second check box was set to when you open the
dialog.

And even with both check boxes checked, I'm still not sure that it
actually checks all folders for new message, but I guess that's a
separate bug. (:
