[Bug 1810705] [NEW] gnome-control-center disappeared when dock move to bottom

2019-01-06 Thread hendra
Public bug reported:

Package : gnome-control-center
Package version : 1:3.28.2-0ubuntu0.18.04.2
Ubuntu release 18.04
Hardware : Processor sandybridge i3 2.2Ghz Memory 3GB Disk capacity 128GB

I will move the dock position down. I open the gnome-control-center and
select Dock and move the position down. It turns out that the settings
window display disappears as minimized. I screenshot but it
automatically captured on different workspace.

I have reinstalled the package but it remains the same (window setting
disappears)

I also tried it from the live session mode and the same thing happened.
But if I move the dock position to the right, the settings window still
looks like it usually does.

I've screen captured all of these experiments.

[Bug 1755536] Re: gnome-control-center is not open ubuntu 18.04

2019-01-06 Thread hendra
I also facing the same problem.
Downloaded 18.04.1 LTS (Jan 6, 2019)
Codename : Bionic

It happen when I tried to change taskbar layout from default (at left
side) to bottom. Yes, I tried to put the taskbar at bottom then it
crashed. I cannot click "Setting" icon, or click "change background"
from desktop display. The icon "setting" (the gear icon) displayed on
taskbar but if I click it, the window not display.

I have already remove gnome-control-center, and reinstall it. Still not
working, same result as above.

PS : I capture my full window, and strangely enough that "setting"
window also automatically captured.

[Bug 577958] Re: VisualVM cannot load profiler (64 bit)

2010-05-25 Thread Hendra
I also hope this can be fixed soon. I'm not able to use VisualVM right
now, as suggested I downloaded the zipped package (v1.2.2) directly from
the visualvm website and when I run it, the log said:

SEVERE [global]
java.lang.NullPointerException
at
com.sun.tools.visualvm.jvmstat.application.ConnectionsCustomizer.emptyBorder(ConnectionsCustomizer.java:137)
at
com.sun.tools.visualvm.jvmstat.application.ConnectionsCustomizer.clinit(ConnectionsCustomizer.java:81)
Caused: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError

I know this is not the right place to discuss about VisualVM bugs, but
the I think it's fair to expect that the pkg installed from repo should
work.
