[Bug 757242] Re: Memory corruption when inserting usb 3 uas device
I belive this was related to the uas driver, which is known to cause issues and because of that was marked as broken and disabled on all stable kernels recently (3.0.57 and onwards, commit fb37ef98015f864d22be223a0e0d93547cd1d4ef). Natty doesn't got the fix as it is already EOL, but Oneiric and later have now the uas driver disabled, so I'm marking this fixed.
