In order to boot to different kernels I have to uninstall nvidia-current. With doing this, i get thrown into unity-2d, in which suspend works as expected. I can't get unity 3D to run properly, also not on older kernels without the nvidia-current driver. The memory usage in top/htop ps does not add up to the total amount used shown.
