[Bug 1610445] [NEW] Race condition under Trusty with fresh kernels
Public bug reported: There is fresh Trusty 14.04.5 host with all stuff installed from standard Ubuntu repos: - linux-image-generic-lts-wily = 4.2.0 - dahdi-dkms = 2.5.0.1+dfsg-1ubuntu4~14.04.4 - asterisk This host hangs after executing of "dahdi create channels 1 4" command in Asterisk console with tons of "chan_dahdi.c:12320 do_monitor: Read failed with -1: Invalid argument" messages. This problem was described in Asterisk's JIRA and fixed in dahdi 2.10.0.1, but this fix still not backported to Trusty updates for 2.05: https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/DAHLIN-340 Can you backport it? ** Affects: dahdi-linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1610445 Title: Race condition under Trusty with fresh kernels To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dahdi-linux/+bug/1610445/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

The same bug under Lubuntu 12.04 32bit. Kernel 3.2.0-56-generic #86-Ubuntu SMP upower 0.9.15-3git1ubuntu0.1 After 3 days of uptime, upowerd eats 45% of 2G RAM. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/757551 Title: upowerd is using too much memory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/upower/+bug/757551/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 876704] Re: /var/run/sphinxsearch not present after reboot, sphinxsearch fails to start
Dmitrijs, thank You for your answer. First, is 2.0.9-rel20-3981-0ubuntu10 newer than 2.0.4-1.1ubuntu1? If so, why it still buggy? Second, ubuntu 12.04 is LTS release, so (imho) builds for 12.04 are more important than for 12.10, 13.04 and 13.10. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/876704 Title: /var/run/sphinxsearch not present after reboot, sphinxsearch fails to start To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sphinxsearch/+bug/876704/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 876704] Re: /var/run/sphinxsearch not present after reboot, sphinxsearch fails to start
Still have this problem with sphinxsearch 2.0.9-rel20-3981-0ubuntu10 under Ubuntu 12.04. Fixed by changing line pid_file = /var/run/sphinxsearch/searchd.pid to pid_file = /var/run/sphinxsearch-searchd.pid in /etc/sphinxsearch/sphinx.conf -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/876704 Title: /var/run/sphinxsearch not present after reboot, sphinxsearch fails to start To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sphinxsearch/+bug/876704/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
